Getting Started

In 3 steps to your first sticky note!

  1. Create or choose a message to stick
  2. Rightclick on the message, select Apps and use stick
  3. Done!

Instead of using Rightclick, you can also use the /sticky create command and pass the Message Link as message.

To get the Message Link, Rightclick on the message to stick and select Copy Message Link.

Warning

Do not make messages sticky that were sent by another bot!
Most bots internally keep track of their own messages via the message id. This way they:

  • listen to updates to that message (example a poll gets a new vote) or
  • they need to update their own message (example a leaderboard changes).

If you make that message sticky, StickMe recreates that message, which changes the message id and makes bots unable to update their message.
