Public

Public reminders are reminders where all users with view permissions to the channel can join.
To create a public reminder you need to have Manage Messages permissions in Discord.

note

Servers can only have 1 public reminder at a time! If you want more, you need to have premium.

Create The Reminder​

You can create a public reminder via /remind us.

A public reminder requires 3 values:

  • A relative time input at which the reminder is triggered.
  • A "Join Message". This message is used to add some basic information to the reminder. This message is not sent when the reminder is sent to all joined users.
  • A "Reminder Message". This is the actual message that is sent to all users once the reminder triggers.

Join The Reminder​

Once the reminder is created, StickMe creates a message like this:

@Snawe created a public reminder! Press the Join button below to join the reminder.

Reminder: < your reminder time >

Message:
Your reminder message. This message is sent to all users that joined the reminder.

Users can now press the Join button to join the reminder.
